A well-established aerospace precision engineering company based in Bridgwater is looking to strengthen its quality team with the addition of an experienced Quality Inspector / CMM Programmer. As a Quality Inspector / CMM Programmer, you will play a key role in ensuring all manufactured components meet strict aerospace quality standards. You will be responsible for both hands-on inspection and CMM programming using Aberlink software.
- Programming and operating CMM machines (Aberlink experience essential)
- Conducting detailed inspection of precision machined components
- Using a range of inspection tools including micrometers, verniers, and bore gauges
- Supporting first-off, in-process, and final inspection activities
- Working closely with production and engineering teams to maintain quality standards
- Proven experience as a Quality Inspector within precision engineering or aerospace
- Strong CMM programming experience (Aberlink essential)
- Confident using manual inspection equipment (micrometers, verniers, bore gauges)
- High attention to detail and a proactive approach to quality
