Mazco Recruitment is working with a leading Formula 1 composites manufacturer in Bognor Regis, supplying precision-machined components to some of the world's most prestigious motorsport teams. We are looking for an experienced CNC Miller Programmer, Setter, Operator with strong 3 and 5-axis machining experience who is looking to work on complex, high-value components in a fast-paced motorsport environment.

The Role

  • Programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines
  • Manufacturing precision composite tooling and motorsport components
  • Working on Zimmermann and Hermle 3 & 5-axis machining centres
  • Producing one-off and small batch, high-precision parts
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
  • Maintaining exceptional quality standards and tight tolerances
  • Supporting continuous improvement within the machine shop

Essential Skills

  • CNC milling programming experience
  • Strong knowledge of Heidenhain controls
  • Experience programming and machining on 3 and 5-axis CNC milling machines
  • Experience with Zimmermann or Hermle machining centres
  • Ability to work to extremely tight tolerances
  • Motorsport, aerospace, composite tooling or precision engineering experience preferred

Desirable

  • Experience using Hypermill or VISI CAM
  • Offline programming experience
  • Knowledge of composite tooling manufacture
