Mazco Recruitment is working with a leading Formula 1 composites manufacturer in Bognor Regis, supplying precision-machined components to some of the world's most prestigious motorsport teams. We are looking for an experienced CNC Miller Programmer, Setter, Operator with strong 3 and 5-axis machining experience who is looking to work on complex, high-value components in a fast-paced motorsport environment.
The Role
- Programming, setting and operating CNC milling machines
- Manufacturing precision composite tooling and motorsport components
- Working on Zimmermann and Hermle 3 & 5-axis machining centres
- Producing one-off and small batch, high-precision parts
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Maintaining exceptional quality standards and tight tolerances
- Supporting continuous improvement within the machine shop
Essential Skills
- CNC milling programming experience
- Strong knowledge of Heidenhain controls
- Experience programming and machining on 3 and 5-axis CNC milling machines
- Experience with Zimmermann or Hermle machining centres
- Ability to work to extremely tight tolerances
- Motorsport, aerospace, composite tooling or precision engineering experience preferred
Desirable
- Experience using Hypermill or VISI CAM
- Offline programming experience
- Knowledge of composite tooling manufacture
