We work with diverse, prestigious clients across a range of sectors and geographies, giving you the opportunity to constantly update and grow your skills for lifelong professional development.
About the team
The HR Business Partner team at Forvis Mazars in the UK is a pillar within our People & Culture team and a key collaborator with our People Experience, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Operations and Finance teams to name a few.
The successful candidate will join a team of 10 dedicated HR Business Partners and will support our Corporate Functions (Business Services Team – BST) service line, taking responsibility for independently partnering this diverse client group with the support of the wider team. At Forvis Mazars, the BST service line includes Finance, Clients & Markets, Operations, IT, People & Culture, Innovation, Quality, Compliance & Enterprise Risk Management teams as well as our Change Management Office.
About the role
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced HR Business Partner with a strong advisory and generalist HR background to join Forvis Mazars.
The successful candidate will primarily lead in shaping and delivering the people strategy and plan for BST. There will also be the opportunity to work across our collaborative HRBP team and engage in firm-wide people projects.
You will proactively form meaningful client relationships built on the delivery of high-quality outputs acting as a trusted advisor. You will seek to add value through providing creative and commercial solutions to often complex people challenges whilst contributing to the development of an inclusive, innovative team of the future.
The role of a HR Business Partner at Forvis Mazars focuses on creating a joined-up strategic approach for our client groups, working together on simplifying processes, strengthening teams and managing risk effectively. To do this, we commit to:
Providing support to the BST leadership team to lead on shaping and implementing the BST people strategy, whilst playing an active role in the delivery of people related projects, including:
- Support in embedding a culture of continuous, in the moment developmental feedback whilst enabling and upskilling people managers on the feedback approach.
- Collaborate with the People Experience team to create and embed a culture of higher performance through the performance cycle and continuous performance activities.
- Support in the creation and implementation of talent identification, management and development activities and Strategic Workforce Planning strategies to support sustainable growth plans in a high-talent environment.
- Actively support to embed the DEI strategy and wellbeing framework alongside the DEI team and our Partner Sponsor team to create a culture of inclusion in a way that resonates in your client group.
- Support partners and functional leaders to understand the levels of engagement within their teams, including analysing, identifying and presenting key issues and results and recommending impactful interventions.
- Ensure familiarity with the firm's ‘people' analytics and insights in all aspects of the people experience to challenge decisions and biases, when needed, related to proposed action and build an understanding of the trends and challenges facing the business (annualised attrition, sickness etc.).
- Support to create a high-quality, sustainable business – proactively challenging areas of underperformance and working with the team to anticipate sector and market challenges for the firm and advising accordingly.
- Provide high quality coaching, support and advice to key stakeholders, including partners and people managers to ensure a proactive approach to performance management.
