About The Role
As an apprentice you will undergo a four‑year training contract starting 1 September 2026, with the following structure.
- Years 1 and 2
- Master the art of auditing: learn to prepare meticulous audit documents using the latest software and methodologies.
- Financial statements: develop a deep understanding of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements and cash flows.
- Client engagement: work side‑by‑side with diverse companies, understanding their operations and challenges.
- Relationship building: connect with key stakeholders internally and externally, gathering relevant information and building strong professional relationships.
- Take on increasingly complex audit work, such as revenue recognition, valuation and risk assessments.
- Lead audit engagements, demonstrating ownership and delivery of high‑quality results.
- Mentor new and junior team members to help them settle in and flourish.
- Begin permanent employment after the apprenticeship, setting the stage for an advanced career at Forvis Mazars.

- On track to obtain A‑level, BTEC or equivalent qualification; strong academic performance is valued.
