Together the People & Culture, Marketing & Communications, IT, Operations, Finance and Quality & Risk Management teams make it their mission to ensure Mazars has the right tools, technology, strategies and services in place to deliver exceptional client service and future-proof our growing business.

Within our Business Services Team, the Business Technology function (Biz Tech) provides IT services to over 2,300 users across around 20 locations, predominantly in the UK, and is comprised of key functions including the following areas: Technology Change (including project management), Security & Governance, Architecture, and IT Service Delivery and Technology Operations, where this role sits.

Job Purpose The Workplace Solutions Lead will be a key part of our IT Operations Service Delivery function and responsible for managing the 3rd Line End-point technical delivery and associated
services for the firm.

These Services are varied but primarily Microsoft focused across Cloud, Hosted and On-Premise solutions and platforms.

This is a dynamic role, working with a range of Technologies in a growing firm with focus in transformation change programmes.

The role would suit an individual who has supported and managed in a similar environment and in a related business area and is looking retain an element of Hands-on mixed with Technical Leadership Role and Responsibilities Reporting to the Head of IT Service Operations, this role will help develop the delivery and support of End-Point solutions in addition to Managed and Vendor provisioned services as the organisation undergoes major transformation.

There are no direct line management responsibilities with this role.

This is Technical Lead position with hands on Technical capability.

Our ambitious programme includes major technology developments as well as redesigning areas such as IT Service, process maturity,
resourcing, third party management and security.

This is a key role for the firm, as this individual will maintain delivery of the highest standards in quality of service delivery and operational standards with reporting.

They will ensure that on a day-to-day basis, the IT services that are key to enabling the business are managed to ensure these are available, secure and performant.

  • Primary Responsibilities
  • Administration and support for M365 Suite - Office 365, Microsoft Exchange Online, Share Point On-Prem & Online, One Drive and Teams
  • Maintain and configure Intune/ autopilot
  • Work with MSP to optimize client support
  • Responsible for the oversight and Support for End-Point imaging, Patching and Updates
  • Overseeing system performance and troubleshooting of L2-L3 issues
  • Prioritize support and maintenance tasks in order to meet service level agreements
  • Support Build, configure & deployment of new desktop/laptop/server/network equipment
  • Support the organization through the use
    of Power Automate, Share Point Online, Teams, etc
  • Ensure comprehensive documentation of procedures is maintained, and system documentation and support processes are regularly reviewed

Skills and Experience

  • Results driven, with a strong sense of accountability
  • Proactive, dynamic and able to adapt in a fast-changing environment
  • Self-motivated, goal-focused, able to work effectively with minimum supervision
  • Autodidact
  • Demonstrable experience in Microsoft systems administration and support
  • Experience in Azure, Azure AD, Intune, Exchange Online configuration and support
  • Experience in Share Point configuration, administration & support
  • Experience with Power Application and Tools
  • Experience of Endpoint Analytical tool - e. g., Nex Think
  • Ability to apply ITIL processes to the provision of IT support
  • Exposure and experience of Project Management processes
  • Good written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills, ability to deal with demanding clients
  • A collaborative
    approach to working with a range of stakeholders across teams, divisions & locations There is an experienced team in place to work with, and the candidate will work closely with these.
  • The candidate will have experience in a broad variety of applications, database and development areas; experience of working in technology functions with a track record of delivering a high professional standard technology function at a significant organisation (1,500 seats+) ; experience in professional services would also be beneficial.
