Join a fast-moving engineering team where you’ll be the go‑to expert for Mazak breakdowns, decommissioning, recommissioning, and servicing. If you thrive on solving problems, getting machines back online, and keeping operations running smoothly, this role is built for you.
What You’ll Do
- Tackle breakdowns — Rapid fault diagnosis and hands‑on repairs to keep production moving.
- Decommission machines — Safe strip‑down, isolation, and prep for relocation or removal.
- Recommission equipment — Install, align, calibrate, and test Mazak machines back to full performance.
- Service & maintain — Scheduled servicing, inspections, lubrication, and component replacement.
- Work safely — Follow strict safety and lockout/tagout procedures.
- Record your work — Clear, accurate reporting of repairs and servicing.
What You Bring
- Strong hands‑on experience with Mazak CNC machines
- Solid mechanical & electrical fault‑finding skills
- Confidence working independently on breakdowns and installations
- Ability to read engineering drawings and machine documentation
- A full clean driving licence
