Mayville School District has Special Education Educational Assistant (EA) positions available for the 2025-26 school year! These positions have some flexibility with daily hours working within the school day (7:30am-3:30pm) working with our early learning, elementary- and secondary-aged learners.
Candidates must be licensed as a Special Education Program Aide; or be willing to obtain licensure upon hire with district support. As a special education EA you will be providing instructional (academic, behavioral) and clerical support for the special education teacher. Under the direction of the teacher you will work with students individually or in small groups. Highly qualified candidates will have a high interest in working with children with academic and behavioral challenges, background and experience working in alternative school settings, and supporting students with Special Education needs.
A special education EA will work in many settings throughout our schools. Each will interact with many staff members throughout the day.
