Responsibilities:
- Come join the Mayo Clinic Healthcare Imaging Team! We are looking for a Senior Mammographer with experience and an interest in other modalities within imaging.
- The Senior Mammographer will have extensive experience in Breast Imaging and screening programmes.
Qualifications:
- Postgraduate in Mammography, CT/Xray/MRI experience is desirable.
- Diploma of the College of Radiographers or BSc equivalent.
- Current valid HCPC (Health Care Professional Council) registration is required.
- Knowledge in Breast Imaging Audits.
- Relevant post graduate experience with the post DCR in mammography obtained in the UK from a HCPC recognised institute.
- Follow all imaging procedures, utilising modality guidelines in accordance with best practices (IRMER2017), CQC standards, SOR and RCR guidelines.
- Highly developed specialist Diagnostic Radiography knowledge.
- Evidence of continuous Professional Development.
- The ability to work autonomously.
- Manage time and prioritise workloads according to service/clinical needs.
- Build and sustain professional relationships as part of the Imaging Team as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Must have the right to work in the UK (relocation is not offered).
- Able to professionally communicate (verbally and written) in English.
