This leading asset management business is looking to strengthen the Real Estate financial operations division with the addition of a qualified Senior Financial Accountant to the existing team. This individual will be responsible for the financial control and group reporting of the UK Real Estate business.
Responsibilities
- Monitoring, oversight and review of management accounts and accounting processes (including year end reporting) in respect to Joint ventures and shared ownership structures.
- Provision financial management and control of a particular entity, including administration of the LP, management and statutory accounts and auditor liaison.
- Transactional support of new projects including assistance with transactions, determining appropriate financial operating model, on-boarding of newly-acquired corporate structures and assistance with ongoing reporting requirements and third party liaison.
- Technical Accounting support to junior team members (e.g. in relation to complex transactions) and assistance with determining accounting treatment for complex transactions.
- Provision of cover to Supervisors and Financial Accountant.
- Assistance with ad-hoc projects.
- Assistance with half-year and year-end reporting on areas.
Qualifications
Candidates are likely to be qualified ACA or ACCA accountants (or equivalent) with strong technical IFRS and UK GAAP knowledge, good experience of financial statutory accounting and Real Estate Financial Accounting is essential.
