This role is to work for the advisory arm of a long-term endowment-style funds of funds business. You will be required to support the team with investment reporting, research, and write-ups on new funds and investment opportunities prior to submission to the Investment Committee.
This is a unique role where you will work directly with the CEO to:
- Build and maintain a network of LPs, advisors, and placement agents
- Generate new investment sourcing and pipeline via desktop research and network
- Curate pipeline and write research notes on approximately 40 top-quartile PE managers and liquid managers
- Review and re-underwrite existing holdings to enable informed rebalancing discussions
- Handle ad hoc projects including maintenance and improvement of tools, templates, and databases for opportunities pipeline, network, reporting, and information management
- Prepare monthly and quarterly reports (including board packs) covering performance, key points from managers' reports, and market commentary
- Monitor managers and capture key notes from meetings and updates
- If needed, mentor junior team members to improve reporting products, approaches, and critical thinking.
This role suits a qualified CA, ACA, CFA, or CISI with a minimum of 5-8 years of relevant work experience who is interested in working part-time.
