We are looking for a highly motivated Project Manager with installation experience for a well-known security client, role to be based north England, southern Scotland. Candidates with CCTV, Alarm, Security, Building Management Systems, Electrical systems.
The position is responsible for the delivery of the installation portfolio assigned within the region, and other areas as assigned. To delivery installation projects on time and on budget maximising monthly, quarterly and yearly revenue, with a view of maximising margin potential and contributing to the installation business plan set for the year.
Responsibilities
- Review of contractual requirements prior to Project initiation to ensure delivery against time, cost and quality
- Identify, mitigate and manage risks associated with project delivery
- Management of all ongoing projects to maximise revenue and NRM generation
- To coordinate and liaise with the engineers, contractors and the wider project team to deliver projects on time, within budget.
- Attend and pre-start and project closure meetings
- Management of stakeholder communication including weekly reporting on project progress and financial performance where necessary.
- To ensure relevant and effective communication is maintained at all times with clients
- Follow agreed process and documentation for management of projects, including variations, WOA’s and lessons learned
- Attend all relevant project meetings as and when required
- Provide cash flow forecast and revenue profiles, seeking approval as and when necessary, from the senior team where projects deviate from plan.
- Support, manage and mentor the Project Management team including accuracy of forecast and cost control
- Promote a safe working environment by ensuring compliance with Health and Safety procedures, identifying areas of risk and reporting any faults to the appropriate department.

Person Specification
Essential
- Good understanding of Project Management methodology and delivery, preferably within a security environment
- Experience of revenue and install margin maximisation
- Delivery of multiple ongoing projects
- Experience of managing large or multiple projects in a security environment
- A strong commercial focus to ensure projects are delivered on budget, on time and to agreed quality standards.
- Experience of financial/resource forecasting and planning to anticipate future requirements and to mitigate risk
- Good understanding of administering contracts
- A minimum of 4 Years Security Industry Experience
Desirable
- Working with NEC / JCT contract
- Prince II or equivalent Project Management Methodology
