We are seeking a skilled and experienced HP/Xerox Printer Engineer / Analyst to join our technical team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, configuration, maintenance, and support of HP and Xerox print solutions—including high-end production equipment. This role involves both hands-on engineering work and analytical assessments, ensuring optimized performance and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:- Install and Configure HP and Xerox multifunction printers, copiers, and production print devices at client sites.
- Implement Print Solutions, including secure print, follow-me printing, print management software (e.g., Xerox Workplace Suite, HP Access Control), and workflow automation tools.
- Deliver End-User Training on proper use of devices, secure printing practices, and use of print management or document solutions.
- Provide Break-Fix Support, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related printing issues.
- Carry Out Preventive and Periodic Maintenance, firmware upgrades, and system health checks on installed devices.
- Document Technical Processes, service activities, and solutions implemented, ensuring alignment with service-level agreements (SLAs).
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience supporting Xerox and HP printer environments, including production-class equipment.
- Proven experience with Xerox solutions (e.g. Workplace Suite).
- Solid understanding of print servers, network protocols, and integration with Active Directory/LDAP.
- Hands-on experience in device firmware upgrades, configuration utilities, and fleet management tools.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and Apple print architecture and troubleshooting methodologies.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals, service bulletins, and diagnostic tools.
- Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to work independently or as part of a field team.
- HP Certified Technician.
- Xerox Solutions or Production Printer Certifications.
- CompTIA A+, Network+, or equivalent IT certification.
