We are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant with nursery experience to work in a Primary school environment to commence after October half term. The role is long term to Christmas but could be extended. This role as Teaching Assistant is ideal for an individual with a minimum Level 2 TA qualification and hands-on nursery experience looking to make a meaningful impact in a vibrant primary school setting.
Responsibilities
- Supporting pupils learning through play-based and structured activities
- Assisting the teacher in delivering the EYFS and KS1 curriculum
- Provide 121 support and small group support, including for children with additional needs
- Help maintain a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment
- Contribute to observations and assessments of pupil progress
- Build positive relationships with children, staff and parents
Qualifications
- Minimum Level 2 TA qualification
- Hands-on nursery experience
- Experience in a similar role (minimum 2 years referenced)
