Teaching Assistant

We are recruiting Teaching Assistants for September 2025 long term assignments to be based in primary schools in Tamworth, Staffordshire. As a Teaching Assistant you will support teachers and students in delivering engaging lessons, 1:1 or small groups the role is varied depending upon the needs of the individual students of the school and contribute to the overall positive atmosphere within the classroom. Key responsibiities: Assist in planning and delivering lessons under teacher supervision Provide tailored support to pupils including those with SEND needs Help maintain a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment Prepare classroom materials and resources to enhance engagement Supervise students during activities, breaks, and outings Support students in developing confidence and independent learning skills Collaborate with teachers, parents, and colleagues Mayfield Recruitment is committed to promoting a safe and ethical working environment, ensuring all assignments are conducted with integrity and professionalism.
