We are recruiting Teaching Assistants for September 2025 long term assignments to be based in primary schools in Tamworth, Staffordshire. As a Teaching Assistant you will support teachers and students in delivering engaging lessons, 1:1 or small groups. The role is varied depending upon the needs of the individual students of the school and contributes to the overall positive atmosphere within the classroom.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and delivering lessons under teacher supervision
- Provide tailored support to pupils including those with SEND needs
- Help maintain a safe, inclusive and positive learning environment
- Prepare classroom materials and resources to enhance engagement
- Supervise students during activities, breaks, and outings
- Support students in developing confidence and independent learning skills
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and colleagues
