Mayfield Recruitment are currently looking for a Senior Support Worker in the Swindon area on a permanent basis. The position for the Senior Support Worker will need to ensure the delivery of high‑quality, person‑centred care to all residents. This role does not offer sponsorship and you must hold a valid driving license.
Key Responsibilities- Experience of delivering support to a high standard within a social care setting
- Some experience of leading individuals and teams within a residential care setting
- Knowledge and experience of the regulatory standards
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or willingness to sit this
- An understanding of Trauma Informed Care and therapeutic background; a working knowledge of PACE and effective understanding of what a therapeutic placement looks like for children is advantageous or a willingness to learn
- Proven experience in working in a Senior position within a care home
- Experience in working with adults with Learning Disabilities
The Senior Support Worker will be working 3 shifts usually a week, days are 14‑hour shifts and sleep‑ins will be expected. You will also be covering 1 in 3 weekends.
