SENCo required to commence asap for a part time role 3 days per week in an established Primary school part of a multi academy trust.
It can be any 3 days of the week, it is a long term position and could lead to a permanent role for the right person.
You will have overall responsibility for pupils with SEND and identify children with additional needs. Have a good working knowledge of EHCP process, Assess – Plan – Do -Review and of any reasonable adjustments required for the individual.
As a SENCo you will write and review IEPs, support plans and contribute to EHCPs. By working closely with the teachers, TA\’s parents and external professionals to include EPs, Speech & Language, CAMHS etc. you will build good working relationships.
You will be a qualified teacher with QTS and have had substantial teaching experience, especially with SEND pupils. And you will hold the National Award for SEN Coordination (NASENCo) or enrolled and on track to complete within 3 years.
