The predicted salary is between 28800 - 48000 £ per year.

Our client is seeking an experienced SEN Teacher initially on a temporary basis, however, it could lead to a permanent position for the right candidate. You will have experience of working with children and young people with diverse needs, exceptional teaching skills, and a strong commitment to inclusive education.

Key responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons tailored to the needs of students with SEN
  • Develop, implement and monitor Individualised Education Plans
  • Use innovative teaching strategies to maximise student learning and development
  • Promote a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment
  • Collaborate with support staff, parents, and external specialists to ensure the best outcomes for students
  • Maintain accurate records and monitor student progress effectively

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • QTS with experience in teaching children with SEN
  • Strong understanding of SEN frameworks and inclusive education practices
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
  • A genuine passion for teaching and a commitment to making a difference in students' lives

Desirable Attributes:

  • Additional training in SEN - specific teaching methods eg Autism Spectrum Disorders, Speech and Language support
  • Experience with assistive technologies and tools for SEN
  • Patience, empathy and resilience in challenging situations
