Our client is opening a new Residential Home for adults and is seeking a full-time Nurse to work 36 hours per week, nights, on a rota basis. The rota is produced 6 weeks in advance. You will be a registered nurse holding a current pin and preferably have experience of working in an adults residential home, although this is not essential for the role. This role is permanent nights on a rota basis and the pay and enhancements will reflect this. Our client provides high quality residential and day care through their specialised mental health, Dementia care and residential care services. Each of their homes offers a unique environment providing high quality, consistent, responsive care in a homely, supportive setting. They provide care for individuals across various parts of the UK and their residents can be assured they will receive the best standard of care services available. The dedicated teams work tirelessly to support and enable people to live life to the full. Their own staff are their most important asset and they invest heavily in training and development to ensure they can offer the best service available with many staff members becoming finalists and winners at the National Care Awards. As a Nurse in this role key responsibilities will be to proivde nursing care to residents during night shfits, ensuring their safety, comford and well-being while adhering to professional standards and regulatory requirements. You will monitor residents health status throughout the night and respond promptly to changes in their health and well-being. You will administer medications and treatments as prescribed and assist with personal care needs when required. Maintain accurate records of care, medication administration, and any incidents, completing handover reports for day staff. It will be your overall responsibility during the night to ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and infection control standards are met and maintained, working closely with care assistants and other staff to deliver person centred care. You will uphold NMC Code of Conduct and follow all health and safety regulations. As a Nurse you will have excellent clinical assessment and decision-making skills, with the ability to work independently and manage emergencies. Be an excellent communicator and have interpersonal skills with a competence in medication administration and record keeping. Due to the nature of the role you will have empathy and patience for working with vulnerable adults, and IT literacy for electronic care planning systems. Qualifications: Registered Nurse (Adult) with current NMC registration Previous experience in residential or nursing home settings preferred Up to date training in medication management, infection control, safeguarding adults and basic life support. For this role of Nurse you will require an enhanced DBS, a minimum of 2 years referencing. You MUST HAVE the right to work in the UK as this client does not offer sponsorship
