Position: Dual Registered Children's Home Manager
Location: Warrington
Salary: > 55k with a base of 60k on opening 2nd home
Higher Earning: > 75k including bonuses for Ofsted and Retention
Role: Permanent
Mayfield Recruitment are currently looking for an Experienced Dual Registered Children's Home Manager in the Warrington area on a permanent basis. The position will need to ensure the delivery of high-quality, person centred care to all residents.
Responsibilities
- Provide strong leadership to the care team, promoting a culture of compassion, dignity, and excellence.
- Ensure the care home operates in full compliance with OFSTED standards and other relevant legislation.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies.
- Oversee safeguarding, health and safety, infection control, and risk management within the home.
- Immediately oversee 1 home with the 2nd home having its planning and registration ready as soon as possible.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in working as a Registered Children’s Manager in a care home or similar care setting.
- In-depth knowledge of OFSTED regulations, safeguarding protocols, and best practice in elderly or specialist care.
- Experience in working with children with EBD and complex needs.
- Held an OFSTED registration within the last 2 years in a children’s home.
- Level 5 qualification or willingness to work towards it.
- Strong safeguarding and regulatory knowledge.
- Values therapeutic, trauma‑informed care.
