We are recruiting on behalf of our client for qualified and experienced Educational Psychologists to deliver face-to-face psychological services within education settings. This is a rewarding opportunity for a committed professional who is passionate about improving outcomes for children and young people through direct assessment, intervention, and consultation. You will work closely with the schools, families, and multi-agency teams to support children and young people with a range of needs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering face-to-face psychological assessments and consultations in schools
  • Completing statutory work in line with EHCP processes and timelines
  • Providing clear and concise written reports and recommendations
  • Supporting schools with evidence-based interventions and strategies
  • Working collaboratively with SENCos, teachers, and other professionals
  • Contributing to early intervention and preventative approaches
  • Maintaining accurate records in line with professional standards

You will be an experienced Educational Psychologist having worked in the UK either in the local authority or private sector, with an excellent knowledge of SEND legislation and EHCP processes. You will have outstanding assessment, analytical, and report writing skills with the ability to build effective relationships with schools, families, and professionals. You will be confident in delivering face-to-face work in school environments and have excellent organisation skills and the ability to manage a caseload independently.

Requirements for the role:

  • Doctorate in Educational Psychology or equivalent recognised qualification
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • Eligibility for or current registration with the British Psychological Society
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one
  • Right to work in the UK
  • Full UK driving licence
