Position: Deputy Care Manager Day Shift Location: Hornsea Salary: £31k Mayfield Recruitment are currently looking for a Deputy Care Manager in the Hornsea area on a permanent basis.

In this position, the Deputy Care Manager will need experience working in a senior position and will be reporting to the registered Home Manager.
The home cares for adults with Aspergers, Schizophrenia or eating disorders to age-related illnesses or Dementia.
Responsibilities Manage the day to day delivery of a high quality, evidence-based person centred, holistic care incorporating meaningful activities for people living with mental health conditions.
Maintain up to date knowledge of best practice and developments.
Oversee staffing levels to ensure that appropriate levels of staff are maintained, taking appropriate action in the event of any gaps in service.
Maintain up to date and accurate records in compliance with Information Governance.
Practice within the guidance and legal framework of CQC Regulations and the Essential standards of Quality and Safety, Infection Control, Medication and Confidentiality, and National Medical Councils standards and guidance.
Ensure Information Governance and confidentiality is adhered to at all times Requirements Qualifications essential /Desirable Qualification in Dementia, mental health or Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) Current registration not essential.
Management qualification or post-qualifying award Diploma Level 5 or working towards (or equivalent) in health care Diploma level 3 (or equivalent) in Health and Social Care Educated to degree level (or equivalent) Experience and skills Essential /Desirable Management or supervisory role within care home Specialist skills and experience in dementia / mental health People management skills including best practice in recruitment, selection and performance management Strong decision making and problem solving skills Conducting service reviews and report writing Good level of IT skills (Excel, Word, Outlook, internet based packages) Development and measurement of Quality Assurance systems Rewards Annual Bonuses Mileage paid over 5 miles Life insurance Company pension in place 24/7 free counselling service On site car park Refer a friend scheme of up to £250 each Company pension Meals provided Free or subsidised traveld02fcfcb-6df4-40ee-95cf-3eb059ce3173
