We are recruiting for a Children's Residential Manager Deputy Manager based in Stockport, Greater Manchester on behalf of our client.
For this role you will support the Residential Manager in day-to-day operations and lead and supervise care staff across shifts maintaining high standards of safeguarding and therapeutic care. You will also assist with compliance, planning and staff development and act as a role model for young people and staff.
As Deputy Manager you will ensure all regulatory and contractual standards are met and exceeded and that the client is appropriately represented and working in effective partnership with key local service providers including local NHS bodies and Social Work departments.
You will support the residential manager with budgets. By adopting a proactive approach you will achieve a positive, engaging, promotional and relationship building role with Local Authorities and all other stakeholders.
As Deputy Manager you will require a minimum of 2 years experience in a senior role within a children's residential setting with at least 1 year supervisory experience, and Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare as a minimum requirement for the role, however, Level 5 would be desirable.
A fully enhanced DBS will be required for the role, plus a minimum of 2 years references.
