The opportunity
- Design and implement developmentally appropriate and stimulating lesson plans that cater to the individual needs and interests of each child.
- Foster a positive and inclusive atmosphere where children feel safe, valued, and encouraged to explore and learn.
- Establish and maintain open lines of communication with parents, providing regular updates on their child's progress and addressing any concerns or questions.
- Work collaboratively with a team of educators to create a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
- Conduct ongoing assessments of children's development, maintain accurate records, and use this information to inform and adapt teaching strategies.
- Stay current with best practices in early childhood education through continuous learning and professional development opportunities.
- You
- Bachelor of Early Childhood Education, or ACECQA approved equivalent, OR Diploma Qualified & and working towards a Bachelor of Early Childhood or ACECQA Approved qualification, OR more than 50% working towards a Bachelor of Early Childhood or ACECQA Approved qualification.
- Valid VIT registration.
- Proven experience with EYLF, NQF and Child Safe Standards.
- Strong knowledge of child development and age-appropriate teaching methodologies.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven experience in creating a positive and engaging learning environment.
- Passion for fostering a love of learning in young children.
