As a Marketing Communications Specialist based in London, you will support the firm’s EMEA and global communications strategy, working closely with both external and internal communications leads to deliver clear, consistent, and engaging communications.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in reviewing and proofing external content, including announcements, biographies, firm‑produced legal updates and white papers.
  • Work with the firm’s global editorial team to review workflow and processes.
  • Support strategic external marketing communications efforts that reinforce the firm’s brand.
  • Ensure compliance with risk and governance procedures, including engagement with legal, risk, and brand stakeholders.
  • Provide regular insights and training to lawyers to help them produce more compelling content.
  • Support the development of internal communications campaigns across all relevant media, including written materials, cascading messages through practice groups, videos, podcasts, intranet posts, and other media.
  • Assist with content on the firm’s intranet home pages and maintain the internal messages database.
  • Provide input on graphics design work and collaborate with external designers to ensure quality deliverables.
  • Contribute to the weekly update from senior leadership.
  • Support other departments and offices with their internal newsletters and updates describing or promoting firm initiatives.
  • Handle other internal communications tasks as required.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or required to meet firm goals and objectives.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field. A combination of education and/or experience may be considered in lieu of the degree when the experience has been directly related to the functions of the role.
Professional Experience
  • At least 6 years of experience in marketing communications, journalism, or related communication roles.
  • Experience writing and editing high‑quality, content‑driven communications materials.
  • Strong working knowledge of all aspects of writing and editorial, including familiarity with editorial style manuals.
Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
  • SharePoint (preferred).
  • Adobe Creative Suite (preferred).
  • Basic understanding of HTML (preferred).

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to communicate effectively and professionally at all levels of the firm and with outside vendors.
  • Ability to work in a diverse team environment and effectively support the demanding needs of the firm.
