Overview
In this role you will support Mayer Brown’s compensation programs for business services staff and fee earners, both locally and globally. You will work within the HR team to ensure accurate, timely compensation data and communications, while driving process improvements. You’ll handle salary surveys, data integrity between HRIS and payroll, and generate letters and reports that reflect the firm’s standards. This position offers a hybrid work setup and the chance to contribute to a collaborative, client-focused culture that values excellence and inclusion.

Responsibilities
- Manage annual salary survey participation and data submissions across regions for consistency and quality
- Lead audit and reconciliation between compensation, HRIS, and payroll to ensure data integrity and resolve discrepancies
- Prepare and produce compensation and bonus letters with accuracy and timeliness
- Coordinate uploading of compensation data into PeopleSoft with Global HRIS, ensuring successful integration
- Perform market data benchmarking using compensation surveys and advise on competitive positioning
- Develop and maintain templates and governance standards for salary and bonus reviews and compensation processes
- Support global compensation initiatives and cross-department collaboration to ensure consistency and best practices
- Contribute to compensation projects and perform other duties to meet firm goals
Key requirements
- Minimum 3 years of compensation experience in professional services or financial sector
- Degree-level education
- Advanced Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, formulas)
- Proficiency with survey databases (WTW, Lexology, Mercer)
- Strong analytical skills and data interpretation abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- Self-starter with initiative and strong customer service orientation
- Confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive information
