Trainee CAD Technician

Overview
Mayday Personnel are excited to be working with a well established engineering business looking for a Trainee CAD Technician on a full time permanent basis. The successful candidate will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth and successful running of the business. The Trainee CAD Technician role is available fro someone to start as soon as possible.

Responsibilities

• Learning 2D drawings as per company standard
• Working closely with the technician team
• Ensuring the drawings are accurate, up-to-date, and kept within company guidelines
• Understanding project requirements to ensure drawings are delivered in a timely manner to meet the required deadlines
• Completing multiple projects and their modifications within the pre-determined deadlines
• Ensuring you have detail-oriented work to generate designs accurately
• Following complex instructions and diagrams to create or modify drawings

Qualifications

• HNC / HND LEVEL AutoCAD
• 1 – 2 years CAD Technician experience
• Electrical CAD experience desirable
• Experience in producing electrical schematic drawings
• Understanding of electrical engineering principles
• Understanding of manufacturing processes
• Good attention to detail
• Experience in working in a small team
• Ability to meet deadlines

Hours

Monday – Friday, 9am – 5:30pm

Lunch break: 1 Hour un-paid

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: GBP24,000.00-GBP26,000.00 per year
