Trainee CAD Technician

Overview Mayday Personnel are excited to be working with a well established engineering business looking for a Trainee CAD Technician on a full time permanent basis. The successful candidate will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth and successful running of the business. The Trainee CAD Technician role is available fro someone to start as soon as possible. Responsibilities * Learning 2D drawings as per company standard * Working closely with the technician team * Ensuring the drawings are accurate, up-to-date, and kept within company guidelines * Understanding project requirements to ensure drawings are delivered in a timely manner to meet the required deadlines * Completing multiple projects and their modifications within the pre-determined deadlines * Ensuring you have detail-oriented work to generate designs accurately * Following complex instructions and diagrams to create or modify drawings Qualifications * HNC / HND LEVEL AutoCAD * Intermediate AutoCAD ability * 1 – 2 years CAD Technician experience * Electrical CAD experience desirable * Experience in producing electrical schematic drawings * Understanding of electrical engineering principles * Understanding of manufacturing processes * Good attention to detail * Experience in working in a small team * Ability to meet deadlines Hours Monday – Friday, 9am – 5:30pm Lunch break: 1 Hour un-paid Job Type: Full-time Pay: £24,000.00-£26,000.00 per year Benefits: * Free parking * On-site parking Schedule: * Monday to Friday Experience: * Electrical CAD: 1 year (required) If your skills match the above criteria, please APPLY NOW
