We are excited to be working with a reputable logistics company close to the Totton area of Hampshire who are looking for an experienced Freight Forwarder to join their friendly team! Our client is passionate about delivering exceptional logistical services and strongly believe in investing in their employees for personal and business growth. The Role: Our client is looking to recruit an experienced and professional Freight Forwarder with recent experience, who has knowledge of Air, Sea, Road and Courier services. Key Responsibilities: * Creating and processing documentation to ensure customs compliance is followed at all times * Monitoring shipments to ensure deliveries are made in a timely manner * Coordinating the Import and Export processes including UK landing, customs clearance and container haulage * Ensuring an excellent customer service is maintained and delivered to the highest standard at all times * Managing the shipping process from booking to delivery Key Skills: * Previous Freight Forwarding experience with Air, Sea, Courier and Road freight within the last 12 months * Excellent communication skills * Customs clearance experience and an understanding of the relevant procedures * Computer literate particularly with MS Word, Excel and Outlook * Ability to work alone and as part of a team * Ability to work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines Benefits: * Salary on offer is between £30,000 to £35,000 per year * Healthcare * Company pension * Free onsite parking * Close to public transport routes Hours: Working hours are 08:30 – 17:00 Monday to Friday.
