We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered General Nurse (RGN) to join our client's healthcare team in Grantham. As an RGN in a prison healthcare setting, you will play a pivotal role in providing comprehensive medical care to incarcerated individuals, ensuring their health and well-being while adhering to the unique challenges of a correctional facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Assessment and Care: Conduct comprehensive health assessments of inmates, including physical and mental health evaluations. Develop and implement individualized care plans for inmates, addressing both chronic conditions and acute medical needs.
- Medication Management: Administer medications as prescribed, adhering to proper dosage and timing. Maintain accurate medication records and monitor inmates' compliance with medication regimens.
- Emergency Response: Be prepared to respond promptly to medical emergencies within the prison, including assessing and stabilizing patients. Coordinate with the healthcare team to ensure the delivery of timely and appropriate care.

Qualifications:
- Valid Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) registration as a Registered General Nurse (RGN).
