The predicted salary is between 20000 - 25000 £ per year.

We are looking for a Part-time Payroll Assistant to work Monday-Thursday 20 or 24 hours per week although we can be flexible. We are looking for someone with previous Payroll/Accounts experience that has used Sage Accounts and is familiar with Excel.

It will involve:

  • Using Sage for basic duties such as entering new starter forms, bank details etc.
  • Managing the Mailbox (HMRC) Pension data within Sage.
  • Running Payroll start to finish, input and full processing of temporary workers payroll approx. 250-300 employees per week (this requires high volume and accurate inputting of data).
  • Sending Pension Correspondence
  • Processing Leavers
  • HMRC Reporting
  • Small monthly Payrolls
  • Setting up and authorising Bank payments - High value State base deductions - DEA etc
  • SSP/SMP Payments
  • Receipting customer money
  • Administering Invoice Finance
  • Basic Reconciliation of Invoice Finance and business bank accounts
  • Basic Credit Control
  • Monthly PAYE Tax
  • Quarterly VAT
  • Petty Cash
  • Invoicing our Clients and inputting on to Sage accounts
