We are looking for a talented and passionate full-time Sommelier to join our Connaught Grill team at the award-winning 5-Star Deluxe hotel – The Connaught. To arrive at The Connaught is to belong. The Role: As Sommelier you will assist the Assistant Head Sommelier in ensuring professional, efficient and accurate service of our 3000 reference wine list as well as all types of beverage, in order to completely exceed guests’ expectations during their meal experience. An excellent and confident communicator, you will take a hands-on approach to your role and be passionate about people, the delivery of exceptional guest service and the development of the waiting team, with a strong focus on training and development.

Responsibilities: As Sommelier you will have a solid understanding of both new and old world wines and successfully completed WSET or equivalent qualification to a high level. You will have a natural flair for service and in delivering a strong service culture, with a natural ability to motivate and develop others. You will have a proven background within a similar position and environment where quality food, wine and ingredients are key priorities.
