We are seeking a driven Room Attendant to join the Claridge\’s Housekeeping team.
Set in the heart of Mayfair, Claridge\’s is an art deco icon and a byword for understated elegance. Since the 1850s, Claridge\’s has excelled at the finer things in life: glamorous design, inspiring dining, impeccable service. There are many 5-star hotels in London but nowhere quite like Claridge\’s. The hotel is a unique combination of splendour and charm with long-standing connections with royalty that have led to it sometimes being referred to as \”annexe to Buckingham Palace\”. Claridge\’s has a famous all-day dining and Afternoon Tea restaurant the \’Foyer Reading Room\’, L\’Epicerie that offers a culinary theatre of the kitchen, and three bars: Claridge\’s Bar, the intimate Fumoir and effortlessly elegant Painter\’s Room.
As a Room Attendant you will be responsible for:
- To maintain the rooms for which they are responsible each day to the highest possible standard of cleanliness and good order.
- Carrying out the evening turn down service as per hotel standards.
- Stripping and making of beds, extra beds and baby cots.
- The replacement of all towels and linen as required
- Reporting any Technical Services issues
- Replenishing guest supplies
Successful candidates for the role of Room Attendant will:
- Work alongside our Housekeeper to ensure attention to detail within the hotel.
- Be an excellent team player, and have excellent communication and customer care skills.
- Be flexible, able to use your initiative and organise your daily activities well.
- Ideally have proven experience within a role within a similar environment.
