We are seeking a creative Events & Groups Executive to join the Events & Groups team here at Claridge’s. Events and Groups is responsible for creating memorable events ranging from gala dinners to award ceremonies and business meetings. As part of the team you will work with precision and focus, ensuring every detail reflects Claridge’s standard of excellence from planning to execution.

Responsibilities

  • Handle reactive sales enquiries for groups and event spaces.
  • Fully plan, coordinate and execute events from enquiry, proposal, site visits, supplier liaison, to final billing.
  • Coordinate all group activities with corporate Sales, reservations and front office teams.
  • Liaise with groups staying at Claridge’s, managing their bookings and related events.
  • Support the Director of Events & Groups and Events & Groups managers as required.

Qualifications

  • Luxury 5‑star experience in a similar role.
  • Experience in total account management of events, both social and corporate, ideally in a fast‑paced hotel environment.
  • Ability to handle challenging guests with high expectations.
  • Pro‑active problem‑solving and challenge‑addressing skills.
  • Capacity to work in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, fluent spoken and written English essential.
