Since the 1850s, Claridge’s has excelled at the finer things in life: glamorous design, inspiring dining, impeccable service.

The hotel is a unique combination of splendour and charm with long-standing connections with royalty that have led to it sometimes being referred to as “annexe to Buckingham Palace”. • Protecting the Company’s interests in the building, plant and equipment, ensuring the safety of guests, visitors and colleagues.
  • Maintaining the asset value of the property and enhancing, refining and improving presentation and operating effectiveness to provide an exceptional guest and colleague experience.
  • Ensuring that the departments are correctly staffed and trained with a suitable team for their function, and to ensure that these team members can perform their duties to the standard required by the hotel and the company.
  • Keeping a close eye on costs for the department in line with budget.
  • Managing relationships with external contractors and suppliers.
  • Managing any planned CAPEX projects in line with the plan for the year.
  • Ensuring compliance of plant and equipment in line with UK health & safety regulations, ensuring all statutory inspections are completed within time and follow-up actions required as necessary.
  • Ensuring reactive maintenance system (KnowCross) is fully operational to limit downtime of bedrooms and services.
