We are seeking a driven Culinary Coordinator to join the Claridge’s Culinary team. Main Kitchen: At Claridge’s, our Main Kitchen is fast paced, disciplined and collaborative and is the place for chefs who thrive on precision and creativity. Working alongside some of the most talented chefs in London, you will prepare every dish with exacting standards that reflect our commitment to exceptional dining. The Main Kitchen at Claridge’s can be endlessly rewarding for those who take pride in elevating every guest’s experience through outstanding cuisine.
Responsibilities:
- The overall management and organisation of the diary for the Culinary Director and senior culinary team, making sure that their schedules are highly organised and efficient.
- All administrative tasks on behalf of the Culinary Director including reporting and data collation.
- Preparing monthly kitchen payroll in line with HR processes.
- Booking temporary kitchen staff from agencies, complete, check and submit timesheets.
- Support in the ordering of essential products for the department, playing a key role in making sure that the kitchens have everything they need in order to carry out an effective service, whilst also monitoring stock levels and that costs are kept under control.
- Collaborating with the Events team to deliver all relevant up to date business information to the culinary team.
- Assisting with the distribution of colleague rotas.
Qualifications:
- Demonstrate genuine dedication to Claridge’s and show a commitment to consistent quality in our product and service.
- Be able to communicate effectively with internal colleagues, suppliers and clients, maximise resources and adhere to strict Hygiene standards and Health and Safety regulations.
- Good organisation and administrative skills is pivotal to this hands-on role, to ensure tasks are carried out in a timely manner.
- Be motivated, creative and have worked in a similar role, within a five star or fine dining environment, with a passion for food and quality products.
- Be a team player who is an avid learner who wants to be challenged and developed.
- Excellent personal presentation.
