House Porter

We are seeking an exceptional House Porter to join our Housekeeping team here at Claridge’s. Maybourne operates some of the world’s most extraordinary hotels, including Claridge’s, The Connaught, The Berkeley and The Emory in London, the Maybourne Beverly Hills and the Maybourne Riviera in the South of France, where exceptional experiences and stories of distinction are crafted that celebrate the design and character of every destination.

As part of the Housekeeping department, you will work alongside experienced Housekeepers who focus on the smallest of details and ensure every room is prepared to perfection. As a House Porter you will be responsible for ensuring that the highest possible standard of cleanliness and maintenance are achieved, supplies are replenished, and that our guests are made to feel at home helping to create renowned memorable experiences.

You will be assisting our Room Attendants in general housekeeping duties, including moving heavy furniture and setting up extra beds. In addition you will be expected to assist with cleaning difficult to reach places, shampooing carpets and keeping all service areas clear of rubbish. Our House Porters are an integral part of the team, providing all necessary equipment and items that are requested by the Floor Housekeeper or guests whilst assisting the Housekeeping team to ensure efficiency and seamless service.

You will be a great team player, and have excellent communication and guest care skills. You will have pride and attention to detail in your work. Ideally, you will have proven experience within a role within a similar environment.
