We are looking for a talented and passionate full‑time Purchasing Assistant to join The Connaught Purchasing team at the award‑winning 5-Star Deluxe Connaught Hotel.
Responsibilities
- To ensure that orders are placed in a timely manner to meet demands of the business.
- To ensure correct issuing of items as requisitioned by the various departments and that issues are supported with the correct documentation.
- To check, unload and store deliveries whilst ensuring correct stock rotation.
- To receive all items delivered against the pending delivery notes and invoices/delivery notes to ensure that they are correct in terms of quality and quantity and price charged, whilst following procedure for any discrepancies.
- To record any breakages and record wastage in Fourth.
- To ensure that all paperwork is completed by month end and processed via Fourth.
Skills and experience
- Previous good receiving experience advantageous.
- Basic understanding of Microsoft Suite.
- Understanding of Health & Safety and Food Safety procedures.
