We are seeking a skilled Chef de Partie to join the Claridge’s culinary team. Main Kitchen At Claridge’s, our Main Kitchen is fast paced, disciplined and collaborative and is the place for chefs who thrive on precision and creativity. Working alongside some of the most talented chefs in London, you will prepare every dish with exacting standards that reflect our commitment to exceptional dining. The Main Kitchen at Claridge’s can be endlessly rewarding for those who take pride in elevating every guest’s experience through outstanding cuisine.
As a Chef de Partie you will be responsible for:
- The preparation and service of food within the Foyer and Reading Room, In Room Dining and our luxury event space, catering for up to 1000 people per day, working alongside the Junior Sous Chef and Sous Chef.
- Manage and support a team of Commis Chefs and Demi Chef de Parties on the section, ensuring that the highest standards are maintained at all times.
- Working with and supporting Chef de Parties, Demi Chef de Parties and First Commis Chefs.
- Ensuring that the kitchen areas, equipment and utensils are always kept clean and tidy.
- Appropriate mise-en-place, stock rotation and portion control.
Successful candidates for our Chef de Partie opportunity will:
- Demonstrate genuine dedication to Claridge’s and show a commitment to consistent quality in our product and service.
- Have experience as a Chef de Partie or higher in a fast paced kitchen environment. Hotel experience would be beneficial however not essential.
- Have a passion for food and quality products, be a team player who is an avid learner who wants to be challenged and developed.
