We are seeking a skilled Beauty and Massage Therapist to join the Claridge’s Health Club and Spa. Set in the heart of Mayfair, Claridge’s is an art deco icon and a byword for understated elegance. Since the 1850s, Claridge’s has excelled at the finer things in life: glamorous design, inspiring dining, impeccable service.
As a Beauty and Massage Therapist you will be responsible for:
- Carrying out treatments to Claridge’s and Maybourne standards and in accordance with the training given by the relevant product company and LQA/Forbes standards.
- To greet and anticipate the needs of all guests and members within any area of the Spa and exceed their expectations at every opportunity.
- To support spa team when needed to ensure the smooth running of any of the day.
- To update guest records with treatment received.
- To maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the Spa, throughout the day.
- To be knowledgeable about and able to promote all services within the Spa.
Our successful candidate will be a team player who is an avid learner, adaptable and has exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. You will be well presented with exceptional attention to detail. In addition to that you will also be flexible and well organised. Other skills that will need to be demonstrated include:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the Luxury Spa Industry.
- Minimum NVQ Level 3 however level 4, CIBTAC and/or CIDESCO Qualification is preferred.
- Extensive knowledge in massage techniques including Swedish, Deep Tissue and Prenatal.
- Experience in skincare analysis and advanced facial techniques/technologies are preferable.
- The ability to deliver an exceptional spa treatment, adapting to individual guests needs.
- Strong customer care and communication skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- A high standard of personal presentation.
- Confident, professional and welcoming personality.
