Bartender

We are seeking a talented Bartender to join the Dante Mayfair team at Claridge’s.

Bartender responsibilities:

• Creating memorable experiences for our guests, ensuring that service is prompt and professional.
• Having a complete, but expanding, knowledge of our cocktails, wines by the glass, spirits and beers and a thorough understanding of our food menu items.
• Guiding the guests' individual experience with your knowledge of the menus and wine lists.
• Being leaders behind the bar, mentoring junior team members and sharing your knowledge.
• Leading a section and following the steps of service on the bar floor and assisting in the dining room when necessary.
• Handling complaints in a timely and efficient manner.
• Ensuring that licensing laws and health and safety legislation are adhered to.

Bartender qualifications:

• Demonstrate genuine dedication to Claridge’s and show a commitment to consistent quality in our product and service.
• Provide intuitive service, with absolute understanding of our guests' needs to create exceptional service experiences.
• Be motivated, creative and have worked in a similar role, within a five star or fine dining environment.
• Have a passion for food and quality products, be a team player who is an avid learner and wants to be challenged and developed.
• Be fluent in spoken and written English.
• Have exceptional product knowledge.
