We are seeking a skilled and experienced

Technical Operations Manager to join the Claridge’s Engineering team.

Set in the heart of Mayfair, Claridge’s is an art deco icon and a byword for understated elegance.

The hotel is a unique combination of splendour and charm with long‑standing connections with royalty that have led to it sometimes being referred to as “annexe to Buckingham Palace”.

Claridge’s has a famous all‑day dining and Afternoon Tea restaurant the ‘Foyer & Reading Room’, L’Epicerie that offers a culinary theatre of the kitchen, and three bars: Claridge’s Bar, the intimate Fumoir and effortlessly elegant Painter’s Room.

, you will be responsible for

  • Protect the Company’s interests in the building, plant and equipment, ensuring the safety of guests, visitors and colleagues.
  • Maintain the asset value of the property and enhance, refine and improve presentation and operating effectiveness to provide an exceptional guest and colleague experience.
  • To ensure that the departments are correctly staffed and trained with a suitable team for their function, and to ensure that these team members can perform their duties to the standard required by the hotel and the company.
  • Develop and implement a robust Planned and Preventative Maintenance regime across M&E services, structure, fabric and FF&E.
  • Establish and implement a perfect room programme in accordance with Claridge’s standards and budgetary expectations.
  • Ensure compliance of plant and equipment in line with UK health & safety regulations, ensuring all statutory inspections are completed within time and follow‑up actions required as necessary.
  • Ensure reactive maintenance system (Know Cross) is fully operational to limit downtime of bedrooms and services.
