We are seeking a knowledgeable Income Auditor to join the Claridge's Finance team.

Finance

Amid the busyness of Claridge's, you will find the calm, ordered rhythm of the Finance department.

Your role will be defined by accuracy and trust and together with the rest of the team, you will play a part in analysing performance, guiding departmental budgets and safeguarding the hotels long-term prosperity with meticulous care.

As a Income Auditor you will be responsible for

  • Prepare and distribute daily revenue reports, including posting income and statistics journals to the General Ledger.
  • Audit daily revenue across all hotel areas, including Rooms, Food & Beverage, telephone, laundry, valet, health club, and other revenue streams.
  • Reconcile financial records and ledgers, ensuring Guest Ledger, Advanced Deposit Ledger, City Ledger, and General Ledger balances are accurate.
  • Review payments, cash receipts, credit cards, and settlements, investigating discrepancies, paid-outs, allowances, and voucher approvals.
  • Monitor guest account and credit activity, including open paymaster accounts, high balance reports, revenue adjustments, and supporting authorisations.
  • Verify operational reports and supporting documentation, including registration cards, housekeeping discrepancies, complimentary rooms, house use, rate variances, and room rate checks.
  • Maintain audit records, logs, compliance checks, and reporting, including benchmarking submissions, provisional monthly revenue statistics, and corporate financial procedure compliance.
  • Support wider finance operations, including ad-hoc analysis, telephone exception reporting and journals, entertainment/comps journals, cross-training, and internal audit support.
