We are seeking an exceptional Events and Groups Manager to join the team at Claridge’s. Events & Groups

From gala dinners to award ceremonies to business meetings, our Events and Groups department have been at the heart of some of our guests' most memorable occasions. As part of our devoted Events & Groups department, you will work with precision and focus, ensuring every detail reflects Claridge’s standard of excellence, from the planning to the big day. Each event brings the opportunity to create stories of distinction in one of the most iconic settings.

As Events and Groups Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Handling reactive sales enquiries for groups as well as our large event spaces, on the ground floor.
  • Fully plan, coordinate and execute events, from enquiries, proposals, organising site visits and show arounds, liaising with suppliers and internal departments, to the final billing.
  • Coordinate all group activities with our corporate Sales, reservations and front office teams.
  • Liaise with large groups staying at Claridge’s, manage their bookings and all related events.
  • Support the Director of Events & Groups when necessary.

Successful candidates for our Events and Groups Manager opportunity will:

  • Have worked in a similar role, within a five star or fine dining environment.
  • Provide intuitive service, with absolute understanding of our guests' needs to create exceptional service experiences, that result in lasting memories.
  • Experience of total account management of events, both social and corporate, ideally within a fast-paced hotel environment.
  • Ability to manage high expectations.
  • Demonstrate ability to take a proactive approach to problem-solving and challenges.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, fluent spoken and written English is essential.
  • Be a team player who is an avid learner who wants to be challenged and developed.
  • Have a thorough understanding of Forbes and LQA Standards.
