Events & Groups Executive

We are seeking a creative Events & Groups Executive to join the Events & Groups team here at Claridge’s. As part of our devoted Events & Groups department, you will work with precision and focus, ensuring every detail reflects Claridge’s standard of excellence, from the planning to the big day. Each event brings the opportunity to create stories of distinction in one of the most iconic settings.

As the Events & Groups Executive you will be responsible for:

• Handling reactive sales enquiries for groups as well as our event spaces, predominately on our mezzanine floor.
• Fully plan, coordinate and execute events, from enquiry, proposals, organising site visits and show arounds liaising with suppliers and internal departments, to the final billing.
• Coordinate all group activities with our corporate Sales, reservations and front office teams.
• Liaise with groups staying at Claridge’s, manage their bookings and all related events.
• Support the director of events & groups and events & groups managers when necessary.

Successful candidates for our Events & Groups Executive opportunity will:

• Have luxury 5-star experience within a similar role.
• Have experience of total account management of events, both social and corporate, ideally within a fast-paced hotel environment.
• Be able to deal with challenging guests with high expectations.
• Demonstrate ability to take a pro-active approach to problem solving and challenges.
• Be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Have excellent communication skills; fluent spoken and written English is essential.
