We are looking for an accomplished, astute, and passionate full-time Director of Finance to join our Finance team at the award-winning 5-Star Deluxe Connaught Hotel.

The Role

As a key member of the Executive Committee, you will balance high-level strategic planning with a hands-on approach to daily operations, navigating the fast-paced demands of a 5-star luxury environment with agility and commercial precision.

Responsibilities

  • Act as a high-level advisor to the Managing Director and Executive Committee, translating complex financial data into bold, actionable business strategies.
  • Move seamlessly from strategy to the "front lines," working hands-on with Department Heads to master their P&Ls and optimise margins.
  • Drive a high-pace culture by delivering sharp, rolling weekly forecasts that allow the hotel to pivot resources in real-time.
  • Identify and seize revenue opportunities across F&B, Rooms, and Spa, ensuring every luxury service is backed by a robust ROI.
  • Transform the finance function into a proactive service department, mentoring a high-performing team to deliver excellence at speed.

Who You Are

  • Previous experience in luxury hospitality.

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive senior leadership experience within a luxury 5-star hotel environment.
  • Proven track record of sitting on an Executive Committee, contributing to property-wide commercial strategy beyond the finance function.
  • Expert-level Excel skills with the ability to build complex financial models and ROI analyses at pace.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate technical financial data into clear, actionable insights for non-finance leaders.
