We are seeking an exceptional Deputy Restaurant Manager to join the team at Claridge’s.

Responsibilities

  • Creating memorable experiences for our guests, ensuring service is prompt and professional and that our standards are adhered to.
  • Managing, training and organising a team of 50 colleagues.
  • Reporting directly to the Restaurant Director, acting as Deputy in his absence.
  • Ensuring a seamless and individual service is delivered to all guests while optimising financial performance.
  • Running daily team briefings, ensuring all colleagues on duty are aware of their duties and knowledgeable of guests and preferences.
  • Assisting and training colleagues as part of the departmental induction process and an ongoing programme to achieve and exceed minimum service standards.

Requirements

  • Have worked in a similar role within a five star or fine dining environment.
  • Passion for food and beverage with excellent knowledge.
  • Confidence in leading, supporting and motivating a team.
  • Skilled at managing service flow and stepping in to support during busy periods.
  • Provide intuitive service, with absolute understanding of guests’ needs to create exceptional service experiences resulting in lasting memories.
  • Team player, avid learner, eager to be challenged and developed.
  • Understanding of Forbes and LQA Standards.
