We are seeking an enthusiastic Demi Chef de Partie to join our team within the Main Kitchen here at Claridge’s.
Main Kitchen
At Claridge’s, our Main Kitchen is fast paced, disciplined and collaborative and is the place for chefs who thrive on precision and creativity. Working alongside some of the most talented chefs in London, you will prepare every dish with exacting standards that reflect our commitment to exceptional dining. The Main Kitchen at Claridge’s can be endlessly rewarding for those who take pride in elevating every guest’s experience through outstanding cuisine.
Responsibilities
- The preparation and service of food within the Foyer and Reading Room, In Room Dining and our luxury event space, catering for around 1000 people per day, working alongside the Chef de Partie and Sous Chef.
- Ensuring that the highest standards are maintained at all times.
- Working with and supporting Chef de Parties, Demi Chef de Parties and First Commis Chefs.
- Ensuring that the kitchen areas, equipment and utensils are always kept clean and tidy.
- Appropriate mise‑en‑place, stock rotation and portion control.
Qualifications
- Demonstrate genuine dedication to Claridge’s and show a commitment to consistent quality in our product and service.
- Experience as a commis chef in a fast paced kitchen environment.
- Hotel experience would be beneficial however not essential.
- You will have a passion for food and quality products, be a team player who is an avid learner who wants to be challenged and developed.
