Restaurant Assistant General Manager to join the Dante Mayfair team at Claridge's.

Responsibilities

  • To assist the Restaurant General Manager in the coordination and leadership of the day-to-day operation of Dante Mayfair in accordance with company food & beverage quality standards and the hotel's and Dante's policies, procedures and objectives.
  • To have a strong presence in the dining room during operating hours in order to support the team and connect with guests.
  • Together with the Restaurant General Manager communicate, motivate and train the Front of House team and Back of House team and to encourage teamwork.
  • To assist in the generation of ideas to impact positively on revenue and to ensure the Restaurant remains competitive.
  • Creating strong connections with guests, ensuring they have a reason to return.

Qualifications

  • Be motivated and highly organized and preferably have previous experience within a similar role.
  • Be a confident and well‑spoken communicator.
  • Have the leadership skills and ability to assist in the leadership of a front of house team of 38 colleagues.
  • Demonstrate genuine dedication to Claridge's and show a commitment to consistent quality in our product and service.
  • Have exceptional knowledge of seasonality, quality food, wines and spirits.
