As a Fleet Controller for Maybourne you will be representing Claridge's, The Connaught, The Berkeley and The Emory. Based at The Berkeley, you will be managing the bookings and allocating jobs to our chauffeurs via our Maybourne Fleet reservation system as well as sometimes providing chauffeur services to the complete satisfaction of our guests. You will also be monitoring and facilitating the maintenance of the cars.

Main responsibilities of the Fleet Controller include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing Chauffeurs.
  • Allocate jobs to Chauffeurs.
  • Perform quality checks on both jobs and cars.
  • To maximise Chauffeur and vehicle utilisation.
  • Dealing with subcontractors and allocating their work, whilst monitoring that their service consistently meets Maybourne standards.
  • Monitoring and facilitating the maintenance and upkeep of our fleet of cars, including safety checks, repairs, licensing, cleanliness, and any other aspect as directed by line management.
  • Contribute to maintaining an excellent level of service in conjunction with the minimum requirement of the LQA standards at all times.

Successful candidates for the Chauffeur will demonstrate genuine dedication to Maybourne and show a commitment to consistent quality in our product and service. The ideal candidate will be a team player who is a fast learner, adaptable and has exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.

We anticipate applicants will have previous experience in a similar role within a luxury hotel environment.
