We are seeking an exceptional Casual Kitchen Porter to join the team at Claridge’s. Maybourne operates some of the world’s most extraordinary hotels, including Claridge’s, The Connaught, The Berkeley and The Emory in London, the Maybourne Beverly Hills and the Maybourne Riviera in the South of France, where exceptional experiences and stories of distinction are crafted that celebrate the design and character of every destination.
The Back of House department at Claridge’s is the essential backbone that keeps our culinary operation running flawlessly. As a part of this hardworking team, you will be supporting the busy operation by maintaining impeccable cleanliness, ensuring equipment is ready for use, keeping the kitchen environment organised and efficient, and contributing to the smooth delivery of every guest dining experience.
As Casual Kitchen Porter you will be responsible for:
- Assisting in the Back of House Operations of the hotel, mainly in the kitchen area. This job involves manual work, heavy lifting and working with chemicals.
- Maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of Back of House areas.
- Ensuring all culinary departments are well supported with clean and well-stocked equipment.
- Operation of the dishwasher, cleaning pots, pans, utensils & crockery and keeping the kitchen areas clean & safe.
- Ensuring that all hotel Back of House waste is correctly disposed.
- Ensuring the daily cleaning of outside areas of the hotel perimeter.
Successful candidates for our Casual Kitchen Porter opportunity will:
